While NYC is home, we love planning and designing beautiful celebrations, whether you're getting married right here or dreaming of a destination wedding across the country or around the world!

We love creating intimate, and meaningful events that reflect your unique love story. It's our joy to bring your vision to life with thoughtful planning and intentional design, making sure every single detail feels perfectly you. Every story is truly unique and it is our privilege to bring that to life. Our approach is collaborative, it should feel like you're teaming up with us, not someone who's going to take over your day.

Meet Our Founder

Ambar is the founder and creative mind behind Designs with Ambar. Passionate to her core, she’s the one replying to your inquiry, touring new venues, swooning over your engagement photos, and diving into Instagram and Pinterest to dream up something fun and uniquely yours. All the while, she’s connecting with her team, venues, and vendors to ensure every “i” is dotted and every “t” is crossed before each wedding day unfolds. As for when she sleeps… we’re not entirely sure either.

From Ambar:

I was a DIY bride who fell in love with the planning, organizing, and designing of it all. When my husband proposed four years ago, I had never really thought about my wedding, no color palette in mind, no dream dress, no vision planned since childhood. I started from zero. I researched, sourced vendors, toured venues, compared photographers, eventually discovered my favorite photography style and almost chose the wrong dress silhouette. Somewhere in that process, I fell in love with planning.

After freelancing for 3 years alongside several inspiring planners and designers, I decided it was time to take the leap and create Designs with Ambar.
